yeah but you scouts get less of a profile andthe most speed
profile does not matter when you pop up near objectives and installations no matter your profile
profile does not matter when line of sight is 80m and AR's can hit from that distance
speed is a non factor this build ask any scout

My point is that heavies can equip heavy weapons but scouts are no different from assault. Scout suits are not meant to compete at assaulting, neither are heavies, but everyone wants their scout or heavy to beat Assault Suits at what they are designed for, leanr to use your scout suit for diffrent stuff, like not being seen & flanking. umm yeah
so you flank unseen and come up behind somebody and shoot your shotty and or swipe your nova knifes and boom he takes no damage or little damage and turns around and sprays his AR and your dead
AR damn near beats every weapon in cqc |

An assault is meant primarily for direct head-on engagements.
Of course, you can try to use the scout as an assault and an assault as a scout but neither suit benefits from doing another suit's job. You also have to take their bonuses into consideration. Slot arrangements alone is hardly going to help. For example:
A Gallente scout gk.0 (prototype) has four low slots and has a bonus towards profile dampening and passive scan range. No other suit, not even the logistics, can compete with that.
Likewise, there is no other suit that can compete with the utility of the logistics dropsuits. Nor can any other suit compete with the HP tanking potential of the heavy suits. Every suit has a purpose. You just have to use that suit for that specific purpose. If you try to use a scout suit as an assault or logistics suit, you're going to die no matter what. I want to agree but as of right now
I have to armor tank my gk.o and equip an AR or ASCR to even survive in 1.4 I still run my actual scout builds and the survival rate is a joke some games yeah the shotty does its job for me thats like 25% of the time the other75% its taking 4+ direct shots to deplete 85% of their health then I die and scan range is a joke compared to LOS and range of AR's dampeners I put 2 in my lows and still got seen thru a wall due to being near an objective cancels out all dampening |

I feel like the LOS at 80m should not be for every suit
or at least when I throw dampeners on it should cut down the range my chevron is seen at
